Context & challenge
Alcon's CENTURION® introduced Active Fluidics, dynamic IOP control, and multiple vacuum/flow behaviors. The operator’s manual highlights numerous adjustable parameters, which implies challenges such as:

Avoiding cognitive overload while exposing advanced settings.
•
Ensuring surgeons can quickly set target IOP, vacuum, and flow without misconfiguration.
•
Designing visual feedback that clearly communicates real‑time chamber stability and system responses.
My Role
As the UI Designer of this product, I crafted workflows, UI patterns, behaviors, and visual brand in Illustrator and implemented the designs within Visual Studio C# WPF environment.
